Children’s Refuge Camp - CARD 34501 General views of the children in a refuge camp at Dymchurch. They had been taken there when the threat of war hung over England. They play games and eat in the big room. Children Return From Dymchurch - CARD 34522 Crippled children return from the camp at Dymchurch where they had been taken for safety should war break out. Auxiliary Fire Brigade Recruiting - CARD 34465 General views of the central recruiting station for the AFS in connection with ARP work. Also demonstration of fire pumps at Guildford.
