- Summary
- Babcock and Wilcox synopsis: In 1955 an industrial Exhibition was held in the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, to display Scottish industry and products to the world. As one of the largest firms on Clydeside, Babcock & Wilcox, Ltd. were represented by an exhibit which showed something of their widespread activities in the manufacture of steam power plant for the world and described their important role in the new field of atomic power. The film shows the opening of the Exhibition by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and makes a brief tour of the exhibits, taking in a mannequin display of dresses made from Scottish fabrics.
