- Babcock and Wilcox synopsis: At this time Calder Hall "A", the world’s first fullscale atomic power station was under construction. The film pays a brief visit to the site and then by means of a diagram indicates the basic principle of operation of the station. Sections of the Babcock steam-raising units (heat-exchanges) are shown during transport to site - a new shape in steam-raising equipment; the shape of things to come!
