Summary

COI synopsis: Scientists and engineers are, today, exploring the outer reaches of heat and cold: how they can create, control and, when necessary, prevent either and how this will effect today’s society. Sea water as a barrier against fire in the home. It’s not a whimsical dream. A British company has isolated a mineral from sea water to form the core of a fire-proof door. These standard doors can resist intense heat for over three hours.
