- Summary
- Rhodesian Spotlight synopsis: During a Farmers’ Day at the Henderson Research Station explains its latest findings in Agriculture.
Rhodesian Spotlight Commentary - It’s open house at the Henderson Research Station and farmers from far and wide devote a day to getting the latest know-how revealed by many exhaustive experiments. Greater all out efforts are being called for to feed the nation, and a diversified Agricultural economy includes fish farming - the breeding and raising of fish as a source of food for humans and fish meal for animals. Many important factors were raised by the Northern Rhodesian Member of Agriculture, Mr W. H. Wroth in his address to farmers. To a greater or lesser degree they all depend on research, which has and still is pioneering tremendous Agricultural development. Gone are the days when wasteful acres were sufficient for a sparse population. Farming today is a highly competitive business, and the Henderson Research Station is striving to take some of the guesswork out of a vital industry. - Researcher Comments
