Summary
NFA synopsis: The item opens with a shot of Ebbw Vale and crowds attending the Eisteddfod there. Some of the choir competition is shown, and the crowning of the bard, this year LLewellyn-Jones with a poem on reconciliation. Various shots of the Eisteddfod grounds follow, with displays, including a steelmaking one, a brass band competition, and a school procession, with recorder groups. The Chairing of the Bard ceremony is shown, which is followed by girls doing a Floral Dance, and the presentation of a sheaf of corn to the Archdruid by a maiden. The film concludes with community singing at the end of the Eisteddfod.
