Summary
NoS Summary - Dick and Edith Barstow do a dance routine on points.
British Pathe synopsis: "Not everybody would care to jump off a piano on their toes, as this expert dancer, Dick Barstow, does." M/S of Dick standing on tip toe on a piano in the Pathe Studio. He balances on his points then jumps off, landing on the floor on his toes. He bounces up and down on his toes then runs up some steps, still on tiptoe. He then does some Russian Cossack style dancing, again on his toes. He works his way down the steps on tiptoe. "And climbing stairs this way is not the simplest of items, unless you happen to have "steel toes" like Dick and his sister Edith - " Edith dances in a little short dress. They both do a kind of tap routine but all on their toes. They both dance up the steps on their points. C/U of their feet as they dance. Their ballet style shoes have steel caps on the toes. They laugh and take a bow at the end of their routine.
