Summary
NoS Summary - The very latest in glamorous jewellery.
British Pathe synopsis: "Joys in gems for Milady - " M/S of a woman in a velvet dress perched on a high stool smoking a cigarette. Behind her is an abstract set - half a William Morris style wallpaper, half geometric lines. She blows out her cigarette smoke very slowly. C/U of the woman as she turns her head to face the camera. She wears a necklace, bracelet and earrings of very large gemstones. L/S of a woman in a boudoir setting. She is reaching behind her head as if to do up the clasp of a necklace. Dissolve to a closer shot of the woman showing off her jewellery. "Here is antique beauty in favour with the modern - " C/U of a woman sitting with head bowed. She slowly points to the brooch which nestles between her breasts. Dissolve to show the brooch in C/U. The woman presses a little button and the brooch opens up to reveal a photograph of the woman’s beau. C/U of a woman with slicked back hair putting the back on a very large pendulous earring. She turns her head to show the matching earring. She turns and smiles at the camera. "Fleeting colour clouds enclosed in crystal - a lure to the gentler sex."
