Summary
British Pathe synopsis: Four glamour girls walk towards a man who holds some tilly lamps. They take a lamp each. The girls walk into a tunnel accompanied by the man. "The history of the caves is lost in antiquity. Certainly their makers dug well and deep." reads an intertitle. Dark shots of the girls walking through the caves and looking at the rocks. They hold up their lamps. "This loose flint is said to have been used by the ancient Britons for their spearheads." The girls gingerly step through the caves in their high heels. The girls look at a deep well. "Some say human sacrifices were once made on the altar in the priest chamber." The girls point and chat and look excited. L/S of exterior of the tunnel as the girls and their guide emerge.
