MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scottish Cup Final in Colour. DESCRIPTION: Celtic versus Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park. In a hard fought game, Rangers win 3 - 2. SHOTLIST: MS pipe band (not playing) pan to exterior of stadium (Hampden Park). MCU emblem. MS crowds walking in. MCU sign Celtic v Rangers. TS supporters wearing rosettes. MCU display of rosettes. MCU zoom back giant teddy bear with rosette held by Rangers supporters inside stadium. GV inside stadium. MS teams out (Rangers on right). GV crowd. MS photographers Princess Alexandra meeting Celtic players, two captains shake hands & toss up, McNeill of Celtic wins. MS supporters wheeled out on a stretcher. Rangers kick off playing right to left, Rangers supporters. Rangers’ Sandy Jardine shoots but is wide. MS supporters Rangers. GV Rangers attack is foiled, Celtic attack but ball finally goes into touch. MS supporters. GV Rangers foil Celtic attack and pass back to their goalkeeper. MS pan corner to Rangers, ball is headed out but resulting shot goes high over bar, MS No 9 Rangers Parlane. GV corner to Celtic but Rangers pass Celtic and back to goalie. MS corner to Rangers, ball goes over area is knocked back but resulting shot is high over bar. MCU boy Rangers supporters, MS Celtic goalie Hunter. GV zoom in ball in net after Kenny Dalglish scores for Celtic (1 - 0). LS Celtic players hugging each other. LS goal pan up yo crowd. MS Hunter zoom back as Parlane scores for Rangers (not very clear) - score 1 - 1. LS ball in back of net, Hunter on ground. MS zoom back Rangers supporters. Nos 3,9 & 10 (Rangers) run back to restart, No 9 scores. LS Celtic attacking on Ranger byline but quick tackling stops them, McCloy gathers and throws out. MS No 9 (Rangers) and No 7 (Celtic) fall down heavily together near byline. LS corner to Celtic but Rangers quickly clear up field, No 10 Conn has ball in the clear but the whistle has gone for half time - GV crowd at half time. GV Celtic kick off 2nd half right to left, they are robbed and a long ball finds Conn who goes past one defender & finally squeezes a shot between a covering defender and out coming goalkeeper, Celtic 1, Rangers 2. MS Rangers crowd. MS Rangers players congratulate Conn. GV Celtic No 11 Callaghan takes ball up left wing, Celtic inter pass in front of Rangers goal, No 7 Johnstone runs at the goal, gives a square pass to another Celtic player who tips it on to Deans who shoots but his shot is handled by Greig - a penalty is given. MS replay of incident from behind goal as Connolly places penalty to right of McCloy, score 2 - 2. LS Celtic players hugging one another. MS McCloy. LS Johnstone scores, but it is disallowed. MS Johnstone. LS Parlane heads against left hand post, ball skids across & hits right hand post, where Forsythe pushes it home, pan to Rangers players - score Celtic 2, Rangers 3. MS Rangers supporters. MS Rangers No 5 Johnstone brings down a Celtic player just outside area, a free kick is given. MS Celtic take kick, but it is blocked by No 4 Greig & cleared. MS Rangers No 11 Quinton Young is brought down by Celtic player (Johnstone), Celtic attack down left wing No 12 substitute Lennox gathers ball near by line, passes back to Callaghan who centres but ball is cleared. MS melée in Rangers goalmouth, Celtic have a chance but shot is miss kicked & goalie gathers. MS referee after having blown for time. GV zoom in as Jock Wallace runs onto pitch, hugs players. MS Conn & Young salute supporters. MS 2 Rangers players embrace. MCU Wallace & Parlane embracing. MS Rangers supporters. MLS captain Greig holds up cup. MS Rangers supporters. MS No 1 McLean and No 6 McDonald hold up cup.
