MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Single Handed Yacht Race. DESCRIPTION: The first three places in the Observer single handed Atlantic Yacht Race were won by Frenchmen. Alain Colas in Pen Duick IV, Vendredi 13 sailed by Jean-Yves Terlain and Cap 33 crewed by Jean-Marie Vidal. 4th place to British entrant, British Steel. The winner was over the line in record time of 20 days, beating the old yacht race record by 6 days, set up in 1968. SHOTLIST: GV pan Rhode Island bay.
