Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Biggin Hill Air Fair. DESCRIPTION: More than two hundred service and civilian aircraft on show at the International Air Fair. Light planes, civil airliners and service jets on the ground and in the air with aerobatic displays by a veteran Spitfire and the Royal Air Force Red Arrows. It’s one of Britain’s biggest aviation events. SHOTLIST: GV Biggin Hill, planes etc. SV Buccaneer pan to Phantom. SV along row of light aircraft. TV Petite Prince, SV Gloster Air Tourer. CU name & badge ditto. SCU interior of cockpit. LV Caravelle. CU nose of ditto pan to man playing Hammond organ on forklift truck. G to A Royal Navy Vixens fly over in refuelling manoeuvre. GV crew look on. LV pan two Gloster Tourers fly towards. SV pan on of ditto flies low over airfield. SV Squadron Leader Ray Hanna (ex. Red Arrows) in cockpit of Spitfire pan to propeller. LV pan Spitfire flies over line of Red Arrows aircraft. SV people looking up. Pan Spitfire over Red Arrows. SV crowd look up. GV pan Red Arrows fly past then into bomb burst. SV two Red Arrows fly low and pass each other within inches. G to A Red Arrows fly overhead in formation.
