- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Great Stone Race. DESCRIPTION: How did the early Britons get those vast slabs of stone to Stonehenge? University students team up to move five ton slabs over a half mile course with primitive equipment. It’s the first step of an appeal which is leaving no stone unturned to provide a new Museum in Salisbury. SHOTLIST: GV crowd. SV 3 shots men pulling heavy boulders along on legs as did the druids. LV boulder begins to move with speed. LV men put legs in path of boulder. GV stone race. SV pan men pulling boulder. SV men take leg from back to put in front of boulder.
