MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Like a Diamant in the Sky. DESCRIPTION: The launching of France’s Diamant Rocket at the rocket base at Hamaguir in the Sahara Desert. Mounted on its Diamant rocket, the Diapason satellite is the third to be launched by the French. This is the first to be sent on a scientific mission.
