Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Caldwell and Prescott Defeated. DESCRIPTION: John Caldwell, fighting Alan Rudkin of Liverpool, was defending his British and Empire Bantam Title for the first time since he won it a year ago. Rudkin proved himself the stronger of the two. In the 10th round referee Smith stopped the fight because of cuts over Caldwell’s eye. Johnny Prescott meets up and coming American novice Hubert Hilton in a Reg King Promotion. The referee stops this fight too, for a cut over Prescott’s eye.
