- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: ‘Rulers of the Queens Navy’. DESCRIPTION: The Admiralty, a fine building with a long history, has moved across Whitehall to the new Ministry of Defence. Here, the Navy will join the Army and the Air Force, to be administered by the Defence Council. The old Admiralty built in 1725 by Thomas Ripley, has many relics. Among them, Nelson’s signature made with his right hand and his left.
