- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: How to Stop a Shark!. DESCRIPTION: Through the lense of Movietone’s underwater camera, we can have a look at a new technique in shark hunting. The diver loads up this new American invention - a speargun tipped with a 12 bore shotgun cartridge. The device kills the shark immediately on impact. The main holiday hazard in Britain is the weather! But in Australia waters, its sharks. The undersea shotgun would seem to be the safest and most humane way of dealing with them. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
