- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Devil’s Gas Lighter. DESCRIPTION: 5 months ago, something went seriously wrong in the Sahara oilfields, a gas-well blew its top, and it’s been raging ever since. Now, Red Adair, the flying fire fighter from Texas, was to lead and supervise the assault on the flame, some 260 feet high. With the help of 600 lbs TNT, he and his men blew out the flame.
