MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: ‘Burning Out the Boche’ - New Flame Throwers. DESCRIPTION: Three versions of a new device, the flame-thrower, are now in action of Europe. They began immediately after D-Day burning their way through the German defences. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Troops run with flame throwing equipment also in action. Universal carriers known as ‘Wasps’ flame-throwers in action, also ‘Crocodiles’ (Churchill tanks and trailers). Various scenes of burning, etc. House set on fire. Burning trees and countryside.
