MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Berlin - West Asserts Rights. DESCRIPTION: The Friedrichstrasse checkpoint in Berlin has made headline news again. For the second time in three days, the United States shows they would use force if necessary, to maintain their rights. To assert the right of unchecked entry into East Berlin, an escort of troops in jeeps was provided for a car carrying American personnel.
