Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Big Splash. DESCRIPTION: Superb, Elizabethan Burghley House was the background to the Burghley Three Day Event. Promising show jumpers competed in the Young Riders’ Stakes. But the speed, endurance and cross-country test was the really spectacular event. Many a horse and rider found themselves out of their element during this phase of the test. The British Horse Society certainly gave keen horsemen the chance of making a big splash! SHOTLIST: Key scene. LS Burghley House. MLS pan horse jumps fence. MLS pan another.
