Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pro Tennis. DESCRIPTION: It was the opening night of the London professional indoor Lawn Tennis championships. Hoad (Australia) met Bucholz (USA) in one of the first-round matches at Wembley. Hoad had only once won a singles at Wembley, but eventually he went on to win this match, in which his opponent took 7 games. Stars of the doubles match were Segura (Ecuador) and Olmedo (Peru) against Nielsen (Denmark) and Haillet (France). Segura and Olmedo proved themselves the masters. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
