They rode in triumph on a double-decker, for they’d just brought off the football double of the century. At Tottenham Town Hall, Spurs’ skipper Danny Blanchflower displayed the FA Cup, while the Mayor held the League Challenge Cup. What a day for Danny, and what a day for all the team!
