MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Horse Jumping in the Park. DESCRIPTION: At a Hyde Park ceremony, Sir Derek Gilbey unveiled a plaque commemorating his grandfather, Sir Walter (once a notable figure in London’s Rotten Row). He would have approved the new Jumping Enclosure, now opened for the benefit of today’s riders in the Row: 8 jumps for adults and 3 for juniors. David Broome, Olympic bronze medallist, went over the course, without a fault! SHOTLIST: CU Sir Derek Gilbey. Household brigade officers take the jumps.
