Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: State Visit of the King & Queen of Nepal in Colour. DESCRIPTION: At Victoria Station, the Queen and Prince Philip came to welcome their guests, King Mahendra of Nepal and Queen Ratna and the Crown Prince. Other members of the Royal Family, including Princess Margaret and her husband, and Princess Alexandra, were also there. After the Royal presentations, Field Marshal Lord Alexander and the Prime Minister were presented to the King. A great occasion, this, and the first state visit to Britain by a King of Nepal.
