- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Passing Out Parades Officers of the Future. DESCRIPTION: For the first time since the Sovereign’s parade has been held at Sandhurst, a Prime Minister represented the Queen. Mr Macmillan who was received with a General salute, made the inspection, and the Sword of Honour was presented to Senior Under Officer Gamble, the most outstanding officer-cadet of the term. Another passing out parade has just been held at Cranwell in the presence of the Queen and Prince Philip. Her Majesty was to review the 41 Flight Cadets who have completed their 3 year training and are soon to take up their Commissions with the RAF. Cranwell celebrated it’s 40th anniversary this year, and last month the Queen became its Commandant in Chief. She then presented the Sword of Honour to Senior Under Officer Kemp, the best all-round cadet. SHOTLIST: Cadets on parade ground in college forecourt. Prime Minister across parade ground.
