MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ike’s Goodwill Tour in Delhi & Pakistan. DESCRIPTION: Another important stage on the President’s tour was New Delhi. Tens of thousands were there to greet him. Landing at Palam Airport, he received a warm welcome from India’s President Prasad. Next, from Vice-President Sir Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Then, from Prime Minister Nehru and his daughter, Mrs Indira Gandhi. There were garlands for this very important visitor, before he proceeded to the airport ceremonial.
