MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Athletes Win. DESCRIPTION: British athletes were in good form at an international meeting in Paris, and Salisbury was the winner of the 400 metres. The hundred metres Invitation was won by Whitehead in spite of strong French competition. Now the 800 metres: Mike Rawson took the lead, then received a challenge from one of the field and beat it off. It was a very tight finish for Rawson, with Moens (Belgium) second. SHOTLIST: LS start (key & title). Pan - Salisbury (GB) in dark vest leading 400 metres. Ground level - Salisbury wins. CU Salisbury. Pan high angle - Whitehead (GB) wins 100 metres.
