MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Revolt in Cuba. DESCRIPTION: Havana went wild as the news spread that Cuba’s long struggle had ended with the flight of Batista and the triumph of Fidel Castro. Castro is on his way to Havana, and his troops will soon be there. Now is the moment to celebrate and demonstrate: run to the gaols and let out the political prisoners! And try to get a bit of our own back. Opportunity beckons. Go to the Gambling Halls and break them up. The Government made big profit there, why shouldn’t we? SHOTLIST: MS people in street (key).
