- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: France Decides. DESCRIPTION: One the eve of the referendum on the new constitution, France had become a land of posters. Those in favour were being urged to say ‘yes’. The ‘non’ posters were not so much in evidence: but de Gaulle had opposition. Well, France has now made her decision: but these were the remarkable scenes presented by General de Gaulle’s tour.
