MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sceptre at Newport. DESCRIPTION: The greatest enthusiasm prevailed in Newport Bay. Almost everything that could float was there for the series of America’s cup races. On one occasion, the destroyer Mitscher was a grand-stand for the President. But for Britons following the rivals Columbia and Sceptre, from across the Atlantic, the news was continuously depressing.
