Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Title Fight. DESCRIPTION: Fighting in Sydney for the British Empire Welter-weight title were Johnny van Rensberg of South Africa and Australia’s George Barnes. The thirteenth round was unlucky for the champion, for a series of heavy punches, from Barnes, put him down, for a series of counts. The South African was completely finished, when the referee stopped the fight and awarded it to George Barnes. SHOTLIST: GV Fight.
