MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England V Scotland. DESCRIPTION: Hampden Park was packed for the big match. Billy Wright presented his team to the Duke of Gloucester and Docherty the Scottish eleven. Mudie kicked off for Scotland and the 75th battle between the two counties began. And here is the result: Four nil, for England. SHOTLIST: GV crowd. MS Billy Wright (Captain) presents England team to Duke of Gloucester. Docherty (captain) presents Scottish team to the Duke of Gloucester. Sections of crowds cheering. GV kick off, MS pan England (white shorts) attacking from left to right. MS Douglas heads goal from Charlton’s free kick. Pan shot Scotland (black shorts) attacking from left to right. Winger centres to Kevan who scores. Crowd. MS 2nd half England kick off right to left. Pan shot England attack. Finney centres to Charlton who scores MS from behind goal of Charlton’s goal.
