- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: White City Games. DESCRIPTION: In the International 880 Reinnagel, the East German record holder only managed second place to Brian Hewson, who won easily. The Mile was won by Derek Ibbotson, who swept past Richtzenhain 200 yards from the post to win by 20 yards. PS Cullens’ record javelin throw set new British National and English Native records at 228 feet, 6 inches. The hundred yards was won by Williams of Trinidad.
