- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Nurburgring Car Race. DESCRIPTION: The German 1,000 kilometre sports car race over 625 miles of the twisting circuit of the Nurburg-ring in the Eifel Mountains. It was a red letter day for the British, who drove the first three cars across the line. Tony Brooks was the winner at a record speed and gave Aston Martin their first victory in a world championship series. SHOTLIST: MTPS drivers race across to their cars. Cars race off.
