Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Amateur Champs. DESCRIPTION: Wembley and the ABA Championships, the lightweight bout was between Barber and Kidd of the RAF. The verdict went to Kidd, after the referee stopped the fight. In the Light-welterweight, Stone of Battersea retained his title against Johnny Warner. Len Barrow (the RAF Middleweight champion) found Peter Burke (the present Midland Counties champion) too clever for him. He gained a points decision. SHOTLIST: GV of boxing. Light weight. SCU.
