Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jaguar Car Blaze. DESCRIPTION: Early estimates of the damages at Coventry were put at some harrowing figure in excess of three million pounds. The Jaguar motor-plant was the only one in Coventry working to full capacity: and the fire - if not a disaster - is a serious blow to production. Some four hundred workers were kept on to repair the production lines. The Chairman, Sir William Lyons hopes to resume limited production within a week. SHOTLIST: Smoke. Firemen. Charred cars.
