Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Doctor at Sea. DESCRIPTION: While steaming through heavy seas, the base ship of a German fishing fleet received an SOS from one of the trawlers: Please send a doctor, sick man aboard. A new course was laid and the depot ship made all haste through pounding seas towards the fishing grounds. With a gale blowing the Doctor’s task was a difficult one, crossing over in a tiny dinghy to visit the sick man. SHOTLIST: Waves overlooking. Ship rushing to trawler. Trawler rocking. Doctor rushes to boat. Patient is transferred to ship for operation. Operation is performed on boat. Shots of surgeon and staff with masks on. SCU of patient rocking in bed.
