MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hungarian Refugees Are Here. DESCRIPTION: Donnington Hall, in Lincolnshire has been lent by Mr Shields, for the benefit of Hungarian refugees coming to Britain. It was given a general clean-up by King’s College students. The first arrivals from Hungary were given the friendliest of welcomes. SHOTLIST: Shot of Donnington Hall. Shot of Mr Shields in open Land Rover type car. Exterior shots of students cleaning the building. Interior shots of same. Students cleaning, preparing, redecorating. Plane arrives, refugees emerge from plane, welcomed. Shots of children etc.
