Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Desert Battlefields. DESCRIPTION: After the fighting in the North of the Sinai Peninsular (and the capture of Gaza) we paid a visit to Israeli forces on the battlefields, where swift victory had been achieved. Two Egyptian Generals were captured: General El Agroudi and General Al Digwi, former commander of the Gaza Strip. Along the El Arish desert road, many guns and tanks of American, Russian and British make had been abandoned. SHOTLIST: Travelling shot of lorries in a line. MCU troops in lorries. Lorries moving along. CU General El Agroudi and General Al Digwi. Various shots of abandoned tanks etc.
