DESCRIPTION: The search for Dedan Kemathi (once the leader of some 10,000 terrorists) ended at Nyeri Police Station, after the Mau-Mau leader had been captured. He was shot in the leg while trying to escape into the forest. SHOTLIST: Guard outside Nyeri police station. CU notice outside the police station. Guard inside wire. Corporal Wanjohi & Private Ndiragu, the two men who capture the leader of the Mau-Mau. Good view of body on stretcher. CU head on stretcher. SCU on stretcher lying down. Leopard skins held up.
