Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen Returns. DESCRIPTION: At London Airport, the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret accompanied the Duke of Cornwall and Princess Anne and they approached the aircraft to meet the Queen and the Duke. A large reception party was also there to greet them on the tarmac. Her Majesty inspected a RAF Guard of Honour. After the Queen walked over to a group of Nigerian cadets who are in this country learning soldiering at Sandhurst. So the formalities were over, and Her Majesty made her way towards the Royal car. SHOTLIST: Various shots of Union flags flying from shops. Shots of the Argonaut Atlanta as it taxies in at London Airport, from Nigeria. The Queen Mother and Princess Margaret with the Duke of Cornwall and Princess Anne approach the aircraft. Fur coats taken aboard for the Queen and her lady in waiting. Queen and Royal party alights from the plane and walks down the steps. Shakes hands with Anthony Eden. Speaks to one of the Nigerian Commissioners. Various shots of the Royal party milling around on the tarmac. Shot of the Queen inspecting RAF guard of honour. Queen walks back to the Duke. Queen walking along with Prince Charles and Princess Anne. Royal party inspect Nigerian cadets. Queen talks to one of them. TPS Queen talking to the Queen Mother. Queen and family get into car.
