Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Usa Balloons in Russia. DESCRIPTION: In Moscow some of the weather balloons and equipment which were released by the American Army and landed in the Soviet Union. The Americans state that the balloons were used only for meteorological purposes. The Russians claim that the cameras could be used to film Soviet territories. SHOTLIST: Various scenes of some of the weather balloons and equipment which landed in the Soviet Union after being released by the American Army. Shots in Molotov’s residence. The equipment consisted of radio transmitters, receivers and cameras. Interior shots showing equipment.
