- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Railway Strike. DESCRIPTION: Scenes at London’s railway stations tell the story of the Railway strike which began over the Whitsun Holiday. Some people made their own way to the coast by road, and others made the best of the holiday without trains. Next day, it was a question of getting to work and once more there was very heavy traffic on the roads. SHOTLIST: GV of station and carriages standing in platform.
