MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby League Cup Final. Barrow V Workington. SHOTLIST: Both teams presented to Prince Philip. Barrow in ‘V’ jerseys. Workington attack - awarded a penalty, Gaskins scores. Barrow take penalty, Willy Horne (captain) scores equaliser. 2nd half - Barrow take penalty, Willy Horne scores again. Willy Horne takes a pass and scores a drop goal, and converts. Barrow score third try by Castle, Horne converts. Workington score try by Gibson, and Gaskins converts. A win for Barrow by 21 points to 12. The Captain W Horne is presented with cup by Prince Philip.
