MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Polio Boys Flies Boac. DESCRIPTION: An ambition of 14 year old Peter Wickham, who is partly crippled with infantile paralysis, is to become an airline pilot. A meeting with Sir Miles Thomas, Chairman of BOAC resulted in a ninety minute flight in a Stratocruiser. SHOTLIST: The boy going aboard a BOAC Stratocruiser waves to the camera. Inside the aircraft Peter is being shown the controls. CU the boy and the pilot. Two other boys looking out of the window of the aircraft. GV the wing (port side) and engines turning.
