Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Easter Story. DESCRIPTION: The big idea at Easter for many people in the big cities is to get away. Large crowds left London by train as well as by car. The seaside was one of the big attractions and sun-bathing was possible at places. At Goodwood, motor-racing fans saw Ken Wharton win the Richmond Trophy Race in a BRM. Sailing was popular on the Thames and in Luton (where the hats come from) they had a special Easter celebration. Hampstead Heath once again provided all the fun of the fair. A vast crowd of Londoners went to Hyde Park for the Easter Parade, but this was conspicuous by its absence. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Brighton - KS. Brighton Front. Crowds at Victoria Station.
