Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Mayor’s Show. DESCRIPTION: The Lord Mayor’s Show consisted mainly of marching by many of the Services, in spite of the rain, large crowds lined the route. The new Lord Mayor, Sir Noel Bowater, took the salute from the Mansion House. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS procession. Service men marching in procession. New Lord Mayor takes salute, Sir Noel Bowater, as procession marches past Mansion House. Bowater enters coach with old LM, Sir Rupert de al Bere, Pikemen follow coach. Alight at Law Courts, crowds en route in pouring rain.
