- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Final Tribute to Royal Marine Cadets. DESCRIPTION: In Rochester Cathedral, where the funeral service was held, two hundred relatives were among the three thousand congregation which included senior Naval Officers and other Service Chiefs. From the Cathedral, the coffins were taken through silent streets to the Cemetery at Gillingham. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU coffin being borne past camera. GV Rochester Cathedral. Interior - cathedral shows coffins before high altar. Royal Marines stand guard. Exterior - relatives enter cathedral, several shots. Naval officer enters. Sea Cadets march up to cathedral. Mayors or Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester walk into cathedral. Coffins being carried out of cathedral. Placed on lorries, pass along roadway. Being carried into cemetery. Placed over graves. Being lowered & bishop saying prayers Ashes to ashes etc. CU trumpeter. Trumpeter sounding Last Post.
