DESCRIPTION: The Duke of Edinburgh received a very warm welcome at the McEwan Hall, where he was to receive a degree from Edinburgh University. He was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Law. The degree was conferred by the Chancellor of the University, the Marquess of Linlithgow.
